Why we tie our shoelaces

Why we tie our shoelaces                                       26th August 2014

Shoelaces were invented ,so we can wear shoe properly and safely and we can also stick our shoelace in our shoes firmly.

Each shoe has one long lace on the top of the shoe. They are safe when you tie them because you will not fall over or crash into someone.

The shoelace does not change or move,It is always still and it looks the same as the last time you see it.

It is always stuck on you shoes and it goes through lots of small holes in your shoes.

Shoelaces help your shoes nice and tight so when you cross the road and your shoe falls off your feet then you have to fetch it  and you might get hit, that what of happed if you had no shoes laces on unless you have no lace shoes.

Jump Jam

Why do we do Jump Jam DATE: 17 October 2014

Jump jam is fitness. We dance to the music everyday and have fun.

We have jump jam, So we can get fit and healthy. You have to do jump jam for at least an hour a day.

We have fun doing jump jam because some moves are funny and cool. The other move are hard for people to do,We just have fun exsering.

We do jump jam by doing certain moves to the music. You can also sing with the music,If you can’t dance to music you can just listen and watch someone dance and you might be able to do the dance moves the next day.

Glen Innes has been doing Jump jam for many years and Glen Innes school is happy that someone invented Jump Jam.

My Pet advert

Hello I am a red nose pitbull.I live on the streets alone and I am waiting for someone  to gently pick me up and take me home with them but know one would gently pick me up because of my sharp teeth but I was just smiling and because I eat from the trash but I just had no  normal food because on one would give me food and no one would frow normal food in the trash.Sometimes I imagined how and what it will feel like if I had a home.Would I wear clothing  or will I be a sport dog or I even might be a police dog ,I wonder. One winter night I saw a little boy , a boy freezing  and crying, So I went to the little boy and the little boy told me his feelings and what happened.I replied sorry but the little boy did not understand me because I speaked wolf and then  he told me his name and his name was jon and so I  let him in my small house I found and it was a box ,but there was not enough space so I went to sleep out of the box.The next morning  Jon mother and father found Jon in the little box and found me as his guard and they called Jon Jon wake up there is a red nose pitbull in front of you and then Jon woke up with a surprise and told his parents what happened last night and then they gently picked me up and took me to my new house and I became a super dog and they named me Honey. So from then I had a new life ahead of me.
                                                                                                                      This is me NOW

The 2 ear vans

The 2 new ear vans

Today early this morning, I saw some people  setting up a white cover shields and then I saw some nice looking vans.  Room9 was the only class that was invited to it in glen innes school and there were lots of imported people like John Campbell and Sam Matthers. After morning tea everyone in room9 went under the shelter and sat on the chairs with  yellow t-shirts that said te waka taringa hauora which meant the vehicle ear van in maori.   It looked so bright. Then some people introduced themselves and lead out some speeches. Then lauren went on and said what her name was and other stuff. After all the speeches the kapahaka group did a wonderful performance with 4 songs and a haka so the boys could practice. Then lauren and some other people got called to cut the ribbons with a special scissor. Lauren was very lucky that she got called. After the people (and Lauren) cut the ropes Lauren and I had to get interviewed. This tall man asked us questions and I did not know what to answer but I answered all the questions. Then I ate a lot of food and played around. It was cool and fun.
Everyone enjoyed the wonderful day.I hope it happens again.

Thank you ASB for helping New zealanders ears to get more better and I hope all of the days you come you will have a very lovely and enjoyable day and I hope you come visit Glen Innes School one day.Thank you ASB

Tane’s Diary

   Tane’s Diary    th10 June 2014
Day 1 :One fabulous hot morning I woke up when my wonderful dream was completely finished and then I jumped out of bed like a happy monkey and then I raced to the bathroom like tiger and went in the shower sing my favorite song , Because I'm happy and if you feel like happy is the truth because I'm happy and I sang and sang until the song was finished. After that I dried myself with my favorite blue towel and got dressed in my new pair of black clothes and after that I danced to my kitchen like chris brown and I baked pancakes with raspberries and strawberries on it like a chief and then I walked slowly like slow motion to the table and I ate my fantastic pancakes and  then I called my big sister (Hiua)  and my little brother Hayden. I am leaving Hawaii because my dreams inspired me and I have to go and travel to NZ for a better life and better future. I sadly packed all my stuff and said good bye to my beautiful house and all my special stuff in my green car and drove very fast to one of my modeled and lucy Ki Waka bout and put all my stuff in the ki Waka and left every I had my house , my Car and my family. As I was pushing I said good  bye car good bye house , good bye family and good bye Hawaii and so I left Hawaii on my famoulos Ki Waka bout.

Day 5 :
It was a mission until we got to Samoa. While all the Samoan people looked at us strangely they all were asking us questions like where we came from and what we're doing here we did not answer. Wherever we went a little boy followed us it was like they were keeping an eye on us and the boy would tell them what we were doing every step of the way. Until he said hi to us and gave us some fruit and water we stopped and said thank you and then he ran away. As we were getting our stuff ready to leave he gathered his friends and they all wished us luck and we made some nice and good friends from Samoa and then I said goodbye to my best friends.

Day 7:
While I was surrounded by water a huminges storm came our way and the was a tornado on the other side coming our way too and there was ten sharks on both sides I was so scared I would not survive this, But then somehow the storm , the tornado and the sharks were completely gone and I was so lucky I survived.

Day 9:
I finally reached a different country called Cook Island and when I found a place to put my Ki Waka, I left my Ki Waka boat there. While I was walking on the sand some dancing Cook Island people came in front of me and danced and put some beautiful flower necklaces around  my neck and they welcomed me to Cook Island and I told them if I can stay for the night and they said yea you sure can. So I went to sleep and then I woke up early, they were already  awake and the made me breakfast and also published my Ki Waka and I left at sunrise and they sadly cried. They said bye and I this bye back to them and the also this good luck to me.

Day 12:

I finally reached New Zealand  and I went to get a house , Car and a job.
